Graduate Studies in Letters, Arts and Sciences

Graduate studies leading to the master'south and PhD degrees are available within most departments of USC Dornsife. Candidates for graduate degrees must consummate both the departmental requirements listed for each degree and the general requirements set by The Graduate Schoolhouse. Undergraduate Programs

Majors

Selecting a Major

Interdepartmental Majors
Humanities or Social Sciences Major (BA Caste)

Progressive Degree Plan

A progressive degree program enables a USC Dornsife undergraduate to begin work on a chief'due south degree while completing requirements for the bachelor'due south degree. The progressive degree may be in the aforementioned or different departments but should exist in a closely related field of written report. Students in a progressive degree program must fulfill all requirements for both the bachelor'due south degree and the master'due south degree, except for the requirement of a specific number of units for the two separate degrees. Bones Requirement for a Degree from the USC Dornsife Higher of Letters, Arts and Sciences

For those undergraduate students earning a degree at USC Dornsife, a minimum of 104 units applicable to the caste must be earned in USC Dornsife bookish departments. For students graduating with a small or a second bachelor'south degree, this minimum is reduced to 96 units. For students who are earning a degree in USC Dornsife and also a caste conferred by Dornsife but administered past a professional school, this minimum is reduced to seventy units. Units Required Each Semester

USC Dornsife Advising Office provides a wide range of advising services and programs that integrate students, kinesthesia, staff, bookish disciplines and curricula into a meaningful educational experience.
